Reporting process

An important aspect of the Medical Restorative Massage Therapy® (MRMT®) discipline, is communication and collaboration with each patient’s health care team. Therefore, our therapists periodically provide each patient’s referring physician with a detailed report following the patients’ eighth visit and annually thereafter. These reports include progress since beginning MRMT treatments, such as patient reported pain and function ratings, ambulation and posture observations and results of range of motion assessments. All reports are reviewed by a consulting physician to ensure that the information provides an update of the patient’s current condition and status. Physicians may request additional reports or information regarding the patient’s progress as necessary.
